Joe Deez
Joe Deez is a globally published writer with works appearing in USA Today and the UK comedy magazine Chortle. He is also a professional stand-up comedian who earned viral fame twice and appeared on the nationally syndicated television show “Right This Minute.” His zombie comedy series spec “We Live” placed in the semifinals of the 2021 ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy Screenwriting Competition. His short story “Tachyon 1981” placed in the finals of the 2022 Vocal+ Fiction Awards. In 2023, he was hired to write a pitch deck and pilot episode for a supernatural historical fiction limited series. He also co-founded the non-profit “Humor Association” to help children and young adults deal with bullying and depression through humor and comedy.
